Josh White believes that mediocrity is simply not acceptable. And hates the word “cannot”. His constant push to reinvent himself and his team, helps him look at projects with a unique angle that keeps things new and unexpected. It is this methodology that has earned him high accolades in design and the arts.
Early on, he mastered the art of calligraphy and began teaching at a local art school while still in his teens. His passion for typography and the arts lead him to study fine arts, illustration, and graphic design where he graduated with high honors at Collège Dawson in his hometown, Montreal. Thereafter, he moved to NYC and studied at the School of Figurative Arts, then the School of Visual Arts for motion graphics and fine arts, The Art Student’s League, and recently the French Culinary Institute for pastry arts.
His career spans a very diverse spectrum of industries and genres, including: design & illustration, feature film animation & tv production, product invention & manufacturing, and even insane cake decorating, getting a “Dude, that’s crazy awesome” from Duff Goldman of Ace of Cakes on his Matzo Ball Soup cake. He holds US patents for some of his inventions.
In his “free time” Josh serves as Chairman of an NJ Planning Board of Adjustments Commission.
Thank goodness for his daily dose of Venti Toffeenut Latte at Starbucks to keep him going…
